Land of waterfalls

The waters of the Serra do Cipó are a key life-sustaining good for millions of people, animals and plants. In all their clarity, they flow along the long path from the mountain heights into the valley over countless ravines and rocks – and sometimes into inaccessible waterfalls with staggering drop heights. One of these huge natural formations, of which only an aerial photo exists, is called "The waterfall that nobody has seen or heard of" - to this day it has remained out of reach to visitors.

Ideally located on the Altamira estate is the second highest waterfall in Minas Gerais, the "Cachoeira Alta", and belongs to the national heritage of Brazil. At a height of nearly 180 meters, it is a truly awesome sight. Especially after heavy rainfall, a thundering mass of water runs into the valley with martial, deafening force, while in the dry season winds whip the river into spray that forms "angel wings", into which the rising sun stipples a peripatetic rainbow.
It 's moments like these that need no more words or explanations to convince you of the meaning and purpose of a project that has the protection of a unique work of art called "Nature" as its goal.
