The location of Altamira
2008 a group dedicated European investors bought the nearly 100 hectares large plot at the end of a valley directly adjacent to the Serra do Cipó. For this purpose the Europe based company "Altamira LTD" founded "Altamira Empreendimentos Ecológicos (Altamira Ecological Enterprises)" in Brazil.
The lowest point of the acquired land is located at an altitude of about 1200 meters, while the property goes up in the north to the plateau. At 1500 meters it touches some mountain walls. Thus Altamira is one of the few secluded gates to the national park. Here the untouched land begins.
A total of three rivers are flowing through the land. All cascade in countless waterfalls, pools and flow over rocks down into the valley. No one yet knows all the secluded, meditative spaces that are on the property. Here a large slab of rock, there a bamboo grove, then a deep pool in the sun or a steep waterfall. You feel as if you were running through a teaching example of Feng Shui, in which a master has implemented all possible moods and possibilities.
